Canon Ixis Lense Error
Banging my camera (gently or otherwise) did not seem to help. i'd rather doing it my way. It has now cycled properly with the battery reinstalled and is working again. I couldn't wait to send off this POSITIVELY first comment ever. have a peek at these guys

My camera came back to life! I replaced the batteries, but that didn't fix it. Hii have a canon digital ixus60 or whatever its called... Canon Ixus Lens Stuck I did two thing. 1) Remove the battery and replace with new batteries 2) Hold the Shutter button while I pressed the power button.

When you looked at it the lens "hole" was sideways and it would not retract completely inside the camera.
