Canon Powershot A400 Memory Card Error
I called Canon and they suggest to drop it to them together with a check for $150.00 for repair. Canon PowerShot SD750 / IXUS 75 Digital Camera I recently purchased a 32 gb memory card for a Canon powershot sd 700 is Gigital elph. The camera would display "Memory card error" and it wouldn't show any pictures. In another camera it doesn't recognize anything, I've ran three card recovery programs on it and they can't find anything. news

Before I say what I did to the camera, let me say I have (almost) no idea why it's working again. 1) I took the camera apart, as documented above. 2) The 512Mb card is SanDisk, the 32Mb card is Compactflash (which was bundled with the camera).

If it works fine with 2GB card - stick to that. The key is re-setting your camera back to it's default settings and then re-formatting your memory card using the S400 format function. Luckily, you should be able to pick up a replacement for a very reasonable price, maybe ebay. Have you formatted the card recently?

That's about all I can think of right now. I think the problem is in the SD card. or it's affiliates. When outside in Edmonton I kept it in a pocket close to my body so it never got too cold. :dunno I'm guessing this is either 1) a condensation problem that

I checked the card, it was not locked. The first of which was called something like "A35" but don't remember exactly. Not at all. More about the author It won't help, and it may harm.

It did for me a couple of times but my camera salesman reformatted it at the shop and all was well again. I took a bunch of VERY IMPORTANT photos over the past two weeks and suddenly the camera says "Memory Card Error" and I have lost access to my photos and cannot I don't understand the error, and I don't understand the solution. or it's affiliates.
