Canon Powershot S215 Memory Card Error
The time now is 10:38 AM. However, after switching camera off and on again, "memory card error" message was back. These are different.Tell us more about the actual problem message. I really like it & would like to keep it anyway, but it's not much use if it keeps freezing up with the memory card error, so I'm kinda stuck right news

I think you must change your sd card. I did low-level format the card in the camera, before initial use. The SanDisk card is certainly a big name, mainstream cards, and it shouldn't be consistently having an error issue. Shine into the empty card slot with a flashlight and look for anything that looks bent or out of place. Try a different card. I recently purchased a 1 Gb Kingston "Elite Pro" SD Card (SD/1GB-S, 50x: 8.2 read, 7.7 Mb/sec write).
