I have Canon SD1300 IS model and I found the flywheel by looking at the pictures you posted- which was a brilliant idea… dunno if I would have been successful without Refer to Installing the Lens and Motor assembly guide in order to access the lens assembly. OK, and maybe pigs will fly? I worked my way through the list and Fix #6 saved the day.
I went down the list of fixes - and #6 worked!! (Banging it around a bit). Not difficult if you are methodical and thorough.
