it is working again. I regret not doing this while on vacation because taking pictures was a real pain when the camera was busted. This along with Fix #1c and #2 sometimes work for lens errors that occur from batteries wearing down while the lens was extended. was about to call manufacturing to have them fix it but id still have to pay shipping and possibly even fees if they dont include lens in their warranty.
