Each time I tried to power up the camera I got "Lens Error, automatically shutting down - Restart Camera" - and it would turn off. There are many websites dedicated to disgruntled customers that bought an expensive piece of equipment only to have it fail and Canon do nothing about it. Moral of the story there is probably dust but it won't get out the first time. I took it in only to find out it would cost me 120 to fix it so I figured it is time to find a new one.
