I have a 1gb memory card so should take 300+ photos. Thank you very much. Am about to go on holiday to New York and decided to try it out again, same old CF error message. The above mentioned program you posted was the very last one I tried.Nothing else worked.

I've no idea where it belongs, but the camera works perfectly well without it, so I'm delighted.

Thanks for the fix. I then got a message "Memory card error" and so I switched off the camera.
