If it goes to a store position -ok. The LCD has some icons, but no picture and I cannot turn the camera off. Do you? The problem never transpired and I'm guessing it probably won't for most users of the G10. Canon Lens Error Restart Camera Sd600 Have updated the posting as suggested. Also take a look at Sony, as they also make some nice cameras. i'd rather doing it my way.

I tried all suggestions including ones marked danger could damage the camera. Maybe the speck I saw on the barrel was the culprit. I was sitting down on the floor so I didn't hit it hard, but that did it. check my blog In that case, try thinking of the lens as a dislocated shoulder.

charlotte,Lens errors, especially from falls are very common. If you are following my photo blog, you will realise that I am gaga over the Lumix GM1 ; this mini MFT small wonder is the only camera I us... I have hundreds of friends. One possible thing may be that the battery has worn down through non-use, and can no longer holding a sufficient charge.

In desperation, I gently twisted the smaller lens barrel clockwise (looking at the lens front on) just after switching on the camera and hey presto, the lens motor whirred into life!I HiI have Cannon Powershot. I would appreciate your help, thanks! Then, even more surprisingly, beep beep, "Lens error".
None of these methods involve opening the camera, although some have potential to cause other damage to the camera if excessively done. I tried all your fixes, including opening the thing up (following your other Coolpix instructions and just guessing at what to do) but I couldn't actually get to the lens pins/guides Next she called her insurance co and even more distressed to find out that her access is $250.00! I have had it for years without any problems.
