Hi! With computers, most times it's irreversible. The correct "unlocked" position should be slid up toward the direction of the connectors. Thought I'd treat it to one of my new high capacity cards, but of course it didn't work.

If this is indeed what you did, this would correct the card error problems, but unfortunately would make any photos unrecoverable, even with software. If neither "Class" or "C" is written, the card is likely Class 2 or lower.
