Is it possible to see them anywere? I've looked around on the internet and was told it's possible to recover the lost images before trying to format it to use the card again. It's has non-profit funding. Updated the memory card to a 2GB, and gues what… Errors. says: June 27, 2008 at 11:56 am Brilliant simple fix.

Camera works OK without it so not really worried but if there is a picture to show where it goes back that would be helpful. I was unable to reformat because it it blacked out on my menu. The impact caused the plastic bit that locks in the CF card and battery to become trapped in the metal outer shell.

Canon Europe. I formated the card on my PC, afterwards the camera recognizes it as a memorycard and can format it without any problems. As long as you can retrieve your images I would then try to format the memory card.
