The battery popped out really easily with a small flat screwdriver. Tried a friends inbuilt in computer card reader and it worked on the new card . we bought a new memory card and it still says "Camera Locked!" ... January 8, 2015 at 1:41 PM bilal said... check my blog

All the wiring is the right places and don't look damaged. Thanks for sharing! It's a newer camera but shows the same fault. I recently encounter an SD memory card error while the card was inserted into the camera.

Anywho, been using the same Sandisk 2GB SD card for a while, and the same card reader no-brandname for even longer. Taking out the battery worked a treat on my Ixus 400. (I tried the reset button under the card flap and reformatting the card first, but they didn't work for me). I used an toothpick and in no time the error eliminated.
