Although the SDHC card looks exactly the same as a standard SD card, the format the card uses is very different. its a 4GB SDHC card.! It keeps popping back up. then i changed the little thing on the card to unlock it then inserted the card back again and then it started saying memory card error. Perform each of these steps with any Canon camera model.Turn off the camera and remove the battery.
