Canon Powershot Memory Card Error Card Locked

My camera model is Canon IXY 31s and memory card is Patriot LX Class 10.I accidentally deleted some of my videos on my memory card and I tried to recover my I also have a 2GB memory card for the camera ('Secure Digital High Performance' and it also says foto source at the bottom of the label). http://hammerofcode.com/memory-card/canon-powershot-sd600-memory-card-error-card-locked.php

Damn, my camera still has the "memory card locked" error even after all these steps.... If you're still getting errors, check that the card is seated properly inside the camera. Recommend trying to format the card in your camera, using the camera's "quick" format feature. Also try blowing compressed air at it, to clear out any gunk that may have worked its way in there, jamming it closed. These things always seem to happen on the way to catch a flight! Finally, this likely occurred because you may not have format the card IN THE CAMERA when you first got it. It's been like that ever since.
I went into the Panasonic website and found out how to reformat my card and now all is well. My camera worked fine up until just before my sons birthday. Dickson says: Sorry my friend, not the issue for me. I used an toothpick and in no time the error eliminated.
