we bought a new memory card and it still says "Camera Locked!" ... Reproduction in whole or part in any form or medium without specific written permission is prohibited. File sizes can be very large. I read your post and put my previous 2gb SD card in and my camera worked fine, so now I know I need the older SD cards. i have tried two diffrent cards a 2gb sandisk and a sandisk ultra 16gb 30mb/s sdhc but with no luck:( help????????? My card wouldn't stay in the slot, I took a peek into the slot with a flashight and I found a small piece of the plastic from the old card had I've read here and elsewhere about tis being a relatively common problem with other Canon models and a solution being to remove the iternal battery.
